I am not a kitchen ninja !!!

I have a confession to make: I love to cook. This blog simply serves as my recipe keeper which also reflects my journey as a food’s lover. I’m not a perfect chef, along the way, you will find many of my successes and failures, but it was all worth the effort. I love sharing my [...]

Arctic Adventure – Part 2- Dealing with Cold.

How to keep the my equipment warm is one of the major questions that came up to my mind when I think of Arctic. I heard that in bitter cold, O-rings shrivel, lubricants in cameras and tripods seize up, LCD screens freeze and everything is brittle and fragile. Lenses that use composite materials, for instance, [...]

Arctic Adventure – Part 1- Getting Ready

The Arctic is a treacherous and unforgiving place. With ever-shifting ice flows, impassable glaciers and freezing winds, surviving here is not exactly a walk in the park. But like anywhere on earth, Mother Nature always manages to find a way to make it work, ensuring that the Arctic is filled to the brim with fascinating [...]

North to Alaska

Those familiar only with Johnny Horton's song hit North to Alaska might not be aware that the song came equipped with a movie.

19 December!!

sridar.com – reloaded

It all started way, way back,  it took 12 months to my revamp this website with hundreds of  self reviews. It was a googleless, tweetless, friendless, skypeless time in my life, mostly after midnight.  I developed and deleted several designs and finally got here to make some kind of weird personal diary. Before I could [...]
