If you are travelling to Maui, don’t miss to check these guys. I went to meet Dan along the shores of Kaanapali. I had a very interesting discussion with this underwater photographer who lives to take the underwater photography to a different level. He told me the tips and tools to capture images under the sea. Both brothers used Canon gears and the he explained the cases they both use. More over getting a sharp image with limited light conditions itself is a challenge. Look at the shots these guys took. Simply unbelievable.

John and Dan began their diving career almost 25 years ago by taping soda bottles and bendy straws together to breathe underwater at a favorite deep hole (three feet) in the frigid waters off the coast of Maine. Even then, at the ages of 8 and 4, they knew that their lives would be forever tied to the ocean that they loved. Together they made a pact, and promised each other that they would someday move to an island surrounded by warm water and fulfill their dreams of spending each day underwater.

Twenty years later the Cesere Brothers graduated college and passed up the traditional life to follow their childhood dreams of living and diving on an island paradise. Their passion for the ocean and desire to share what they saw and experienced in the underwater realm lead them to a career in professional photography and videography.
